CSETI Training Part 4

First, please read Part 1 and Part 2 and Part 3 of this story.

The less we make contact, the less we realize that we are powerful beings who do not need to be governed or controlled by bureaucracies and militaries.

Another way to say this is “The more we exercise our minds, the more powerful we will realize ourselves to be.”

This is one of the reasons that the training was so amazing. It starts from the premise that we are powerful beings, and that real ETs are eager to engage with us, if we are willing, and unafraid. It helps you expand your strength by providing ample time to meditate. In our day to day lives, we don’t normally give ourselves the time we need to really think, and focus our intentions.

With that in mind, our days went something like this:

• Wake up at 10am, and meditate until noon.
• Meet in the lecture hall for Q&A with Dr Greer
• Participate in a focus/consciousness/meditation workshop lead by Dr Greer
• Have a quick bite to eat
• Meditate, setting your intention for the night
• Head out into the field at 8pm
• Meditate while you are in the field, with your eyes open

So, what happened at night in the field? Lots.

First, I should mention that we had one person dedicated to reading star charts & satellite flight path information all night, every night. Any time we saw something, we would either call out its location (North East, 180 degrees up), or we would circle it using a green laser pointer (whose entire beam is visible). They would tell us if it was on any of the charts, or not (there are also several iPhone apps that can do this). So, we are fairly confident that the things we saw were neither planes, nor satellites, or astronomical events.

What did we see?

Every night, without fail, we saw tiny lights passing high above us. They looked just like satellites, except that they didn’t always move the way satellites do. For example, sometimes they would deviate from the normal straight line flight path, and travel in a zig-zag pattern. At other times, they would change direction by 90 degrees, instantly. Sure, it could have been debris reflecting light and colliding with something else, causing it to shift direction, but we saw this happen regularly, not just once or twice.

On occasion, we also saw small flashes of white light inside the circle we were sitting in, as if it was manifesting in the circle, not being shone into the circle. It was as if the light had substance. This was seen with the naked eye. It was not lens reflection/refraction.

There were several occasions where someone pointed out a light flying overhead, so the whole group focused on it, and watched it intently, and when it reached a point directly above us, it flashed a very bright blue light directly into our circle… almost as bright as a nearby camera flash, even thought it was coming from miles above us.

I saw more than 5 shooting stars.

On the first night, not too far into the evening, after we had heard much buzzing and beeping from the detectors, something odd happened. I was looking across the circle, and I thought I saw the silhouettes of about 10 people, at a height of maybe 15 feet. It was gone in the blink of an eye, so I naturally assumed that it was the result of someone shining a flashlight behind the other side of the circle, or something of that nature, even though I didn’t notice any lights. It was so fast that I almost didn’t notice it… so I didn’t say anything, but it did kind of look like they were standing on a balcony or a floor, or something more solid than the sand we were sitting on… but I figured that was my “Theatre Technician” background playing tricks on my mind. I thought it was all just my mind playing tricks on me, hungry & cold in the desert at midnight.

When we’re in circle, we are supposed to say *anything* we notice, just in case anyone else noticed the same thing. This is hard to do, because you don’t want to sound crazy (even though the whole premise of sitting in the circle talking to aliens is crazy).

We kept watching and meditating with eyes open, and Dr Greer said that he sensed that a ship had landed on our group, in a dematerialized form, and that sensitive people could probably see it. He said that it had been there for a few minutes, and that there were several other ships nearby.

Then an older lady spoke up. She has been a member of CSETI for years, and has attended many trainings. What she said shocked me to my core. She said “Yes, I see it. In fact, I think it has 2 levels… the second level is like a balcony that goes all the way around, kind of like in those old Roman amphitheatres.” Dr Greer said “Yes, mmm hmmm.”

My jaw literally dropped. It was as if someone you had never met came up to you and told you all about the dream you had last night, but could barely remember. I was dumbfounded.

We had a break about 30 mins later, and I went up to the lady and told her what I thought I had seen, but that at the time I thought it was nothing. She was SOOO happy that I told her, because it gave her confirmation that she wasn’t just “seeing things”. She said I needed to tell the group about what had happened, because they need to know how important it is to share your experiences, no matter how crazy they sound. That is how we get rid of our own doubts & fears. That is how we raise the level of consciousness. So, I shared, and the group became more vocal.

As I mentioned before, our EM detectors would constantly beep and react to the things people in the group were saying. One would chirp poignantly whenever Dr Greer made a joke. Another would beep when members of the group said they saw something in a certain direction. Another would beep in response to the other two detectors. These cold devices felt alive.

At one point, on one night, 3/4 of the group saw a bright flash of light on my side of the circle. They thought a camera flash went off, but the 1/4 of people on my side of the circle didn’t see anything. We then noticed that at the same time the flash had occurred, all the beeping stopped. They were done for the night. That was them leaving. It was truly strange.

On another night, we got to the field and everything was quiet. The detectors weren’t beeping. We were all sitting in circle, and Dr Greer passed around a quartz crystal that a friend had given him. It was nice to look at. When it got back to him, he stood up, and held it in one hand. With the other hand, he pointed to various constellations, naming them as he went. When he got to Orion, the detectors started going apeshit. They kept beeping continuously for probably 20 minutes.

On the Monday night I thought I saw glimpses of something sparkling & swirling in the circle. No, not the vampire from Twilight. It seemed to me to be a verrry fine, light energy. A kind of thin fog that was only slightly luminescent.

The detectors were going almost constantly on Monday night *except* during our meditation, at which point they remained completely silent. At the end of the meditation Greer asked if anyone noticed anything. Someone said “Ya, the detectors stopped!” and Greer said “Yes, they did. They understand, and respect what we are doing here.” At that very moment, the detectors erupted into a cacophonous swirl of beeping and booping.

A few times, I thought I saw patches of the dark night sky that I thought were darker than other patches, but again, I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me. I thought “black is black, and if I’m seeing different blacks, it’s just me”. BUT at one point, Theobat said “Dr Greer – I keep noticing dark patches of what appear to be moving sky. What is that?” Steven replied “I was wondering when someone would mention those. They are extra-terrestrial ships that absorb light. They absorb the star light from above AND any light from earth. They are totally dark, whereas the night sky is only partially dark.” — Once again, I should have spoken up with I thought I was seeing things.

Have I mentioned how cold it got out there on the desert plains at night? I didn’t have a thermometer, but I am from Canada, and I can tell you that I have never been so cold in all my life. Of course, sitting completely still for 6 hours probably had something to do with it. Anyway, I wore: 2 long sleeved shirts, a nylon windbreaker, a heavy cotton windbreaker, a parka with lining, 2 pairs of thick socks, a neck warmer, a winter hat, and gloves. Plus, the mosquitoes were absolute man-eaters. There were swarms so thick that they could obscure whatever you were trying to look at. Thankfully, the bugs disappeared once it reached a certain temperature.

On several nights, people thought they smelled roses in the circle. One time, I was talking to the lady who saw the balcony of the ship, and we smelled roses pass between us, at the same time that we saw that very thin light energy/tiny flickering of light on the ground near our feet.

One night Dr Greer thought we should have a standing meditation. It was freezing, and I was shivering, but I got into it nonetheless. What seemed like a few moments later, the meditation ended. Greer said “Earlier, when I was talking about _______, and I rang the bowl…”  I put my hand up, and he asked “Yes?”.  I said “I don’t remember you takling about that, and I didn’t hear you ring the bowl!”  He said “You musn’t have been here. That happens sometimes.”  I have no idea what that was all about, but the meditation had apparently gone on for longer than I had thought.

There was another night when we saw blinking lights on the side of the nearby mountains. They appeared and disappeared on what, during the day, appeared to be sheer rock faces, which would be very difficult, if not impossible, to traverse at all, let alone quickly. That didn’t stop the lights, though. They would run across the front of the mountain, and back again, taking only a few seconds to travel what was definitely miles of heavily wooded mountain terrain. We had binoculars, and couldn’t see anything but the lights themselves. I watched one of them for over 30 minutes. At one point, I heard a high pitch tone in my right ear, and then something cold touched my forehead… but nothing was there.

On the final night, instead of meeting at our usual field location, we met at a scenic overlook point on the side of a mountain, almost an hour away, near some waterfalls. The view was absolutely amazing (see photo in Part 3) for a few minutes, but then a storm rolled in. We all ran to our cars to hide from the rain. It passed after about 20 minutes, and we got back in the circle. My back was toward the sheer face of the mountain. Nothing behind me but 2 feet of gravel, and then a big drop. The detectors were pretty quiet, until the fog started rolling in. I’m not sure if it was a really thick for, or a cloud… but within a few minutes, it completely enveloped the circle. Something strange was going on, though. The fog was all around the circle, and directly above it, but not IN the circle. We could see one another, but nothing outside the circle. THEN someone shone their green laser upward, and it hit the fog above the circle, and bent at 90 degrees. It appeared as if the fog ceiling of the circle were solid and completely flat. Everyone started shining their lasers at it, and they all bent flat. It was soooo weird. We were all kind of freaking out a bit, getting excited, when Dr Greer said we should take this time to meditate, so we sat back down and focused. I heard footsteps behind me, but there was nothing behind me. As you’ll recall, I was at the edge of a cliff. I told the circle I heard them behind me, and people on the other side of the circle said that they thought it was behind them. Then we smelled pipe smoke. Then Dr Greer said “Does anyone notice anything else that’s odd?” Nobody replied. He said “I can’t hear the waterfall. Can you?”.  OMFG! No! It was completely silent. Was the fog insulating us from the waterfall? What was going on? It was actually loud before the fog rolled in. Greer told us that it was in fact a very partially materialized ship surrounding the circle. It was materialized enough to deflect our lasers, and to block out external sounds, but not enough so that we could see it or touch it. It pretty much blew our minds.

After a while, the fog lifted, and the sound of the falls came back, and the clouds parted, and we could see the stars again… That was pretty much all we saw for quite some time. After the fog, the night was fairly uneventful. The detectors weren’t particularly active… but then the videographer called out for Dr Greer. He said he could see something on night vision, perched on the side of the mountain, perhaps a mile away. Dr Greer put on his own night vision, but could see nothing. The videographer asked Greer to come over and take a look on his night vision, which was connected to the video camera, and sure enough, there it was: a large, pulsating, orange disc with a small ball on the bottom, which would bob up and down between the disc and the ground. We couldn’t see it with our eyes or binoculars, and Greer couldn’t see it with his 3rd generation pro-sumer night vision, but it could be seen with the 4th generation state-of-the-art military-grade night vision, on camera. They quickly got excited and called us all over to watch the camera’s LCD screen.

My skeptic came out for a moment, and I thought “Maybe that’s pre-recorded, to give us a nice little show on the last night.” Then Dr Greer took out his green laser and pointed to where the ship appeared to be. His laser appeared on the screen in real-time, of course. Wherever he moved it in real life, it moved on screen. It was definitely live video. More importantly, when he circled the ship with his laser, what was just an inch of diameter on the screen was perhaps several hundred feet of diameter in real life. This was a huge ship! We watched it for quite some time, too… but it didn’t do anything. It just sat there, glowing, with its little ball moving up and down at seemingly random intervals. We sat back down to try to get it to come a little closer, but it didn’t… and by the end of the night, it was gone. That was our closest, and most material group encounter.

I say group encounter, because one member of the group (the stem cell researcher) had an altogether amazing personal experience one night, after our field work. He went back to his room, and meditated. He tried to make contact, and a golden beam of light appeared next to him. From what I remember, he went toward it, and was somehow transported to the mountains we saw every night. He was then taken aboard a ship, where a tall, very eloquent & stately “man” spoke with him. The man already knew everything he wanted to ask, and offered answers freely. This guy was a real gadget nut like me, so of course, when taken aboard an ET ship for the first time, he wanted to try it out! Before he could even ask, The Man said “Of course you can. Just think, and it will react to you now.” So, he took it for a spin. As he was telling us this story, he had tears coming down his face. He said the ship was somehow biological in nature. He said it felt like his pet dog from back home… like it was there to serve him, and like it was a friend. He said the ship would go wherever he wanted to, as fast as he wanted to go. He said he went past a large red building, toward a mountain with some waterfalls, where he saw more ships. At this point Dr Greer’s eyes lit up, and he looked at his inner circle. They all glanced at one another. This happened before our final night on the mountain near the waterfall. The guy had never been there, but he described the red building that was the entrance to the road onto the mountain, and when he saw it on the last day he wept, because he had already seen it from above! He said he could somehow see into the other ships that were there, and that Dr Greer and a few of the members of his inner circle were on them, which Dr Greer immediately confirmed. After taking the ship for a spin, they returned him to his room, and from that day forth he could see everything happening in the circle, and he could spot anomalous objects before anyone else. More than that, he became much more open with the group, and much more confident about what he was seeing. He was a changed man.

So, those are my “Ambassador to the Universe” experiences thus far. I hope there will be many more to come. To summarize what I learned:

• There are no “evil” ETs visiting our planet, because there is a Galactic Control Centre that prevents under-developed species from leaving their home planet/moon. We have not sent man further into space, because we are not allowed.
• They mean us no harm, but they also have no desire to talk to our (corrupt/ineffectual) leaders. They prefer to communicate with us directly.
• There exists a Prime Directive along the lines of “An it harm none, do what thou wilst.” That means: if it will kill us, others, or the planet herself, it is not okay. In the event of global catastrophe, ETs will intercede, but they would much prefer that we fix things ourselves.
• Zacharia Sitchin and others are quite wrong. ETs would never enslave us to harvest gold or do other menial chores. They can just manifest whatever they want. They would have no use for gold. For the same reason, they have no reason to implant us. They can track us without implants, and they do, but not for nefarious reasons.
• ETs are just like people: funny, and social, and loving.
• Aliens and ETs are not the same thing. Aliens are man-made, and serve to instill fear.
• 36 people seems like a large non-intimate group. I was worried that the lack of intimacy would be an issue, but it is not problem. In fact, it’s beneficial. It means more perspectives, more abilities, more witnesses. Also, because everyone shares common (fringe) interests, it feels very intimate.
• The sound body manifests the light body (astral), which in turn manifests the physical bio-electric body. Therefore, if you can heal the astral, the physical will mend itself.

If I could leave you with a few parting tips, they would be:

1. Harm none
2. There is no such thing as coincidence
3. Pay attention to the signs around you
4. Cultivate your willpower, concentration, and imagination
5. Consciousness is the key to everything

A whole new world awaits, if you can take it.

CSETI Training Part 3

Traumatic “alien” experiences are not extra-terrestrial in origin. They are initiated by members of a secret military, operating outside the knowledge of the US Government and the US Military. These are true “black operations”. They have existed since at least 1947, and they have more technology than you can imagine.

The other day my friend asked me “It’s 2009 – why don’t we have anti-grav yet?” The answer is that we have had it for 52 years. Ben Rich, the former director of the Lockheed Skunkworks, was quoted as saying “We have the technology to take ET home”. In the public sector, we have just developed iPhones. Can you imagine what kind of gear they have in the secret military, where they’ve had ET technology for over 50 years? They have amazing stuff. Stuff that can create or erase memories. Stuff that gives them a mastery of, among other things, genetic engineering. THIS is the nature of all traumatic alien experiences.

Traumatic abductions are conducted by so called PLFs (programmable life forms). They are a kind of cyborg; half living creature, half computer. Engineered, born, and raised to work for the secret military. These guys are the typical “Greys”, with pale skin and big black eyes. They fly ARVs (alien reproduction vehicles). ARVs are military-built UFOs, created by figuring out how real UFOs work by capturing crashed UFOs and studying them. The most famous UFO recovery took place in Roswell, New Mexico, in 1947… but there have been many more.

The military is abducting people and disguising it as “alien abductions”. In fact, one lady I met at the training had been abducted. She remembered the Greys coming into her room, and she was paralyzed. The took her on board their ship, which was opaque & metallic. They flew her to a base somewhere, and woke her up inside a room full of military personnel, and a scientist. He tortured her, and then told the Greys to return her to her home. This happened to her on two occasions. This is what’s been happening all around the world for years. The REAL military thinks real ETs are doing it. The government thinks real ETs are doing it. The secret military knows this is not the case.

Why is the secret military doing it? To convince the real government that the real military needs unlimited funding, to keep the earth safe from impending external threats. Their goal is to keep themselves fully funded, and fully in control. Their modus operandi is this: Fear brings funding.

Why stop at abductions? They don’t. They find ways of funneling cash to support movies that portray ETs in a negative light. They find ways to fund authors of books that portray ETs in a negative light (one way to do this is to abduct a good writer and give him some very traumatic experiences). They might even buy many copies of these authors books, or buy many tickets to see these movies, driving the books onto the best seller list, and movies to the top of the box office. It gives them good exposure, and then more people buy into it.

They need to generate this fear, because the real ETs don’t want to scare us.
They won’t show themselves to people who would be afraid of them.
The more people the media scares, the further off true contact becomes.
The less we make contact, the less we realize that we are powerful beings who do not need to be governed or controlled by bureaucracies and militaries.

I got a little off-track with this post. It contains a lot of information I came to understand at the training, though. I’ll tell you more about the training itself in Part 4.

CSETI Training Part 2

When we got to the Townhouse, there was salad and juice, and about 30 other people lounging around. We mingled and found that not only was our car team totally in sync, but EVERYONE in the room was interested in all the same stuff. Some people were more into meditation, and some were more into free energy, but all were interested in UFOs.

There were people from all across the USA, 2 from Vancouver, and even a couple from Switzerland. People’s backgrounds were diverse: a retired priest and his brother, a rabbi from the US Air Force, a music teacher, a lawyer from New York, a student, a Nuclear Engineer with a Ph. D in physics, a stem cell researcher who frequently has out-of-body experiences, a data recovery expert, a life-long military man with Top Secret clearance, an Air Traffic Control Supervisor and former helicopter pilot who is the proud recipient of two FBI gag orders, and many others.

We lounged around for a bit until Dr. Steven Greer arrived, and then he gave us a few details as to how the evening would go. After his talk, we got back into our car teams, picked up all of our gear from the hotel, changed into warmer clothes, and headed out to the field site we’d be using for the next week.

The site was totally unmarked, and near the base of a mountain range. The first few people there were Greer’s car team, and they immediately started playing some tones over speakers, while simultaneously broadcasting them on an unused FM frequency. These tones were recorded years ago at one of these “CE-5″ trainings (CE-5 = close encounter of the 5th kind = human initiated contact). Because they are of extra-terrestrial origin, CSETI thought it would be good to play them back as an message to the ETs, indicating that “We are here, and we would like to visit with you”. In addition to the recordings, green lasers are shone into the sky as a visual indicator of where we are. With audio & video covered, only one more indicator had to be deployed; a consciousness indicator. Everyone sitting in the circle was to meditate, and visualize where we were located. The goal was to put the image “out there”, to help the ETs find us. It wasn’t a static image, though. You were supposed to picture where we were sitting, then zoom out a bit to picture the general area, then zoom out more to picture Colorado, then zoom out more to picture the United States, then North America, then Earth, then the Solar system, then the Milky Way galaxy. The smoother you can zoom in your mind, the better. Once you’re all the way zoomed out, start zooming back in. When you can do this without trying, try it with your eyes open, so you can watch the sky as you visualize your location.

The real tricky part was this: there are very few places where it safe for the ETs to completely materialize. I know what you’re thinking — “that’s because they don’t exist” — but you’re wrong. They do exist, and they are here with us, and they always have been… but it is currently dangerous for them to materialize. The secret military doesn’t like them hanging around. The ETs are a threat to their authority & control.

So, if they weren’t going to fully materialize, how were we supposed to detect them? They are highly advanced, and fully capable of faster than light travel (which is totally possible when you are de-materialized), mind reading, and planting thoughts into minds. When they are present, some people can see them. These are the same people who are good at seeing auras. It is a skill that anyone can develop, but it takes time. I’ve tried to see auras 1000 times over the years, and have never been successful, but I wasn’t going to let that stop me.

For those who can’t see auras, we can use fairly cheap technology to help the ETs indicate their presence. What technology? Police radar detectors — the kind people put in their car to tell them when there’s a speed trap up ahead. How they work is that when they detect a change in the electro-magnetic energy around the device (i.e. radar), they beep. Out in the middle of the high desert, at 11,000 feet above sea level, there were no police, so these worked well at this particular location. Just to be sure, though, the 3 people who brought radar detectors with them drove around for 1.5 hours before the field training, and the detectors didn’t even go off once. They were dead silent.

So, picture this:
We get all set-up, having pitched our lawn chairs, donned our binoculars, and started recording video through 1st and 4th generation night vision. The radar detectors are positioned all around the 30 foot diameter circle. Then, all of a sudden, one starts beeping. The detector beside it does not beep at all. Nor does the one across the circle… but the first one starts beeping.

What you need to realize is that when a radar detector goes off due to police radar being present, ALL radar detectors in the same area go off. Police radar is NOT very directional. It’s like a garden hose on wide-spray mode — it hits everything in its wide path. Setting off one detector, but not the others is highly improbably, especially when one of them was within 3 feet of it. This was not a radar hit. This will sound a bit crazy, but it was set off by an ET manifesting electro-magnetic changes WITHIN the detector itself. Think of it as generating a gateway from “out there” to inside the device, so that they could manipulate it very easily. That’s what started happening.

Greer stood up, indicated that we had an “electro-magnetic lock-on”, and that we should start recording. It was at that point that he told us about the significance of the beeping, and how it was done. He is a very friendly guy, and a great speaker. He tells a lot of jokes to help pass the time (9pm – 2 or 3am).

At one point he told a funny story about some experiences he’d had, and the second detector piped up with a very comical, punctuating “Beep Beep!”. He laughed and told us how much the ETs love humour. He said they’re just like us, but without the violence. They are social, loving, and funny.

At some point someone asked “What about the bad aliens?”, and Greer patiently explained: “First of all, our friends out there are not aliens, they are ETs. Aliens are the nasty fictional things you see in the movies, and the things that are genetically engineered here on earth. ETs are people, out there, just like us. Yes, they may look drastically different, but they’re not evil. All of the ETs that come to earth are friendly, and compassionate.” This is why CSETI’s motto is “One Universe. One People.”

I later came to learn that there is a Galactic Council/Alliance that rules the skies. Their prime directive is something along the lines of “Do not interfere, but also do not allow any intelligent species or planet to be annihilated”. With that in mind, they have one very important mission: Do not allow violent species to interact with other species outside their home world.

For us, that means we’re not allowed to go to planets other than our moon, except by way of scientific robots & cameras. We are also not allowed to weaponize space. This is for our own good, as well as for the protection of other species. There IS evidence that American nuclear missiles have been disabled by UFOs, and in one case, an ICBM was actually shot down by a UFO. They don’t want us destroying one another OR the planet… but for the most part, they keep out of the spotlight.

The reason this is so important is this: For the same reason that we are not allowed off our home world, extra-terrestrials who are not yet enlightened are also not allowed off THEIR home worlds. This is why Dr Greer knows that the ETs visiting us are all friendly, and it makes perfect sense.

CSETI Training Part 1

On Saturday June 20th, Ula dropped me off at Toronto Pearson International Airport, in time for my flight to Denver Colorado. I was to spend the next 7 days with 36 people, being trained to become an “Ambassador to the Universe”.

Our trainer was Dr. Steven Greer, M.D. His bio is vast, and includes:
- Former chairman of the Department of Emergency Medicine at Caldwell memorial Hospital
- Created The Disclosure Project, The Orion Project, and CSETI
- Coined the term “Close Encounter of the 5th Kind” (CE-5), which is human-initiated contact. This would be the core of the training.
- Author of several books on UFOs & consciousness
- He has briefed several Presidents, Heads of State, Directors of the CIA, and high ranking military officials on the topic of UFOs and Extra-Terrestrial Intelligences.
- He is probably the most important member of the UFO/consciousness community.

So, I walked up to the security desk and hand the guard my passport.
He scans it into the computer, and asks: “You have a job?”
Me: “Computer programmer.”
Guard: “Reason for your travel?”
I replied: “I’m going on a retreat”
The guard looked unimpressed, and said: “Gimme more. I need more than that”.
So I elaborated: “I’m going on a meditation & consciousness retreat in Crestone, a few hours from Denver”.
He asks: “Did you pay for this retreat?”
“Yes”, I say.
He asks: “Is this being done through a group?”
“Yes”.
“Which group is that?”
I somewhat hesitantly reply “CSETI”
“What does that stand for?”
Uh oh. Here goes nothing: “Centre for the Study of Extra-Terrestrial Intelligence”
Guard: “That some kind of cult?”
[gulp] “No, Sir”
Guard: “They actually believe all that crap?”
Me: “Yes, Sir, we do.”
Guard: “Alright, I was just trying to size you up. Have a good trip.”
And I was finally on my way.

I took a taxi downtown to the Crowne Plaze hotel, where a fellow training attendee had pre-booked a hotel for several of us for the night. Later that night, a few of us met up in the lounge for a quick pint & chat (my pint was non-alcoholic because i can’t drink). It was *amazing*.

Here we were, 4 guys who had never met, and it felt as if we’d known each other for ages. There was me, a Canadian internet programmer; MatMan, an American mechanical equipment sales person who spent the last 20 years of his life living in an apartment furnished only with a meditation mat; Theobat, a British theology student, former acrobat, and father of two; and Kiwimation, a New Zealander who does animation for Hollywood movies. I’m using aliases because we signed Non-Disclosure Agreements about using people’s real names. Suffice it to say that the crew was geographically diverse, but as we’d soon discover, mentally & spiritually unified.

I did expect to meet cool people at this thing, but I didn’t expect the amount of knowledge overlap to be SO extreme. I knew we’d all be interested in UFOs. I *didn’t* know we would all also be interested in:

• Remote Viewing
• Free Energy / Zero-Point Energy / The Orion Project
• Meditation / Astral Travel
• 2012
• Goverment cover-ups
• Pharmaceuticals vs. Natural Medicine

and much, much more.

On the surface, these things don’t appear to be connected… but they must be, by virtue of the fact that people with an interest in one, also cultivate interests in the others.

Aaaanyway, we talked until late, even though we had to get up early the next morning, for our car ride to Crestone. We all woke up on time, had breakfast, and headed to the airport to pick up our last “Car Team” member, CapeGuy, a South African (Capetown) PHP programmer with a degree in physics. His 30 hour flight arrived on time, and we were off.

The 4.5 hour drive was gorgeous – mountains, valleys, rivers, plains. Pure awesome. Thanks to its thin trees, Colorado has avoided most clear cutting, leaving vast beautiful, pristine, dense forests. We stopped for a quick pee, and to take the photo accompanying this post

By the time we arrived at our destination, we were almost late for the first session, so we quickly checked in at the White Eagle Village Hotel. We were greeted by a very happy & calm looking lady named Leila. She asked: “You’re with the CSETI group?”. We nodded, and she immediately said “I’ve been abducted by aliens a few times”. Our eyes opened wide. We’d been at our destination less than a minute, and already interesting people were coming out of the woodwork. Someone asked her what her experience was like, and she said she’d rather not think about it. Eeek. We checked in, hopped back in the car, and raced off to The Townhouse to meet the rest of the crew.
