Geetarr

“At the heart of this film is a young widow named Tampopo, who is struggling to make ends meet by running a noodle restaurant. Goro, a truck driver, saves Tampopo’s young son from being beaten by a group of school girls and is rewarded with a bowl of very bad ramen noodles. Goro tells Tampopo the awful truth about her cooking and she asks for his help. Together they search for the perfect ramen recipe.”

And The Ultimate Birthday Present, Ambassador to the Universe Training, wherein a leading US UFO researcher takes you on a field trip during which you “make contact” with actual UFOs. Interesting, at the very least. They have assured me, via email, that trainings will be running in 2005. Excellent. And guess where I’m standing in the photo at right!

“As kit contains solder it may not be available for purchase in California”

These kinds of things always make me wonder. At some point someone in California must have passed some sort of law forbidding the sale of solder with products. At the time it might have seemed like a good idea - but now everyone gets to look at California and say “WTF?” and have a chuckle at their legistlators’ expense. at 2005-03-21 09:19:50

Anyway, I hope all is well with you! at 2005-03-21 14:08:34

Reinvention Tour

Adventurer for Hire: You pay all travel expenses plus 25% of the fee up front, and 75% upon completion of the task. Will retrieve any person/place/thing from anywhere in the world. Fee commensurate with danger.

I mean, how *cool* would that be! I live to have great stories, like the ones such an ad would generate. 15) Adventure Creator - someone responsible for giving thousands of people ways to add adventure to their own lives. Remember how intense it felt, as a kid or teen, to play hide and seek? When you were hiding in the bushes, watching your would-be-captor walking past, do you remember that rush? I really think we all need that. If you could have that on a regular basis, wouldn’t it be great? I think it’s possible… I just need time to develop the idea/product. 16) Idea Person - if there’s one thing I’m really good at it’s having ideas. I’m not good at following through on them, but I do have a lot of great ideas. My ideal job, I think, would be coming up with ideas for other companies/people to do/create. Not only are some of these things going to be difficult to achieve, but some are incompatible with others. Difficult to know where to begin. Even more difficult to stay focussed on just one of these thing once I have begun.

mom said: life is a process, you are already on the road to being many of these things. Many of them are periodically static, they get left and pursued on a periodic basis as life and time permits. I used to think that I was just a hairdresser, and a wannabe artist, but in fact i am many things. Just because i don’t have the time to do them all, all of the time does not make them any less real. I am a mom,an artist, a business owner, a beach bum, a craftsperson, writer on occasion, (poetry) and in some ways an adventurer. My exploits would not be called that by many, but to me, they are because they excite me. Adventure is in the eye of the beholder so to speak. So my son i see you as already being many of the things you mentioned, you may not have done them all, but you are in your heart all of these things because as i see it its, not what you have done, but how you think and feel that are important, in some ways, more than the doing. You don’t have to stay focused on one thing, its alright to do a bit of many if that gives you happiness, you don’t have to be accomplished at all things, just enjoy whatever amt. you do and be content. Just my quick bedtime thought. Love ya, mom at 2005-03-28 04:23:09
