First, I should mention that we had one person dedicated to reading star charts & satellite flight path information all night, every night. Any time we saw something, we would either call out its location (North East, 180 degrees up), or we would circle it using a green laser pointer (whose entire beam is visible). They would tell us if it was on any of the charts, or not (there are also several iPhone apps that can do this). So, we are fairly confident that the things we saw were neither planes, nor satellites, or astronomical events. What did we see? Every night, without fail, we saw tiny lights passing high above us. They looked just like satellites, except that they didn’t always move the way satellites do. For example, sometimes they would deviate from the normal straight line flight path, and travel in a zig-zag pattern. At other times, they would change direction by 90 degrees, instantly. Sure, it could have been debris reflecting light and colliding with something else, causing it to shift direction, but we saw this happen regularly, not just once or twice. On occasion, we also saw small flashes of white light inside the circle we were sitting in, as if it was manifesting in the circle, not being shone into the circle. It was as if the light had substance. This was seen with the naked eye. It was not lens reflection/refraction. There were several occasions where someone pointed out a light flying overhead, so the whole group focused on it, and watched it intently, and when it reached a point directly above us, it flashed a very bright blue light directly into our circle… almost as bright as a nearby camera flash, even thought it was coming from miles above us. I saw more than 5 shooting stars. On the first night, not too far into the evening, after we had heard much buzzing and beeping from the detectors, something odd happened. I was looking across the circle, and I thought I saw the silhouettes of about 10 people, at a height of maybe 15 feet. It was gone in the blink of an eye, so I naturally assumed that it was the result of someone shining a flashlight behind the other side of the circle, or something of that nature, even though I didn’t notice any lights. It was so fast that I almost didn’t notice it… so I didn’t say anything, but it did kind of look like they were standing on a balcony or a floor, or something more solid than the sand we were sitting on… but I figured that was my “Theatre Technician” background playing tricks on my mind. I thought it was all just my mind playing tricks on me, hungry & cold in the desert at midnight. When we’re in circle, we are supposed to say *anything* we notice, just in case anyone else noticed the same thing. This is hard to do, because you don’t want to sound crazy (even though the whole premise of sitting in the circle talking to aliens is crazy). We kept watching and meditating with eyes open, and Dr Greer said that he sensed that a ship had landed on our group, in a dematerialized form, and that sensitive people could probably see it. He said that it had been there for a few minutes, and that there were several other ships nearby. Then an older lady spoke up. She has been a member of CSETI for years, and has attended many trainings. What she said shocked me to my core. She said “Yes, I see it. In fact, I think it has 2 levels… the second level is like a balcony that goes all the way around, kind of like in those old Roman amphitheatres.” Dr Greer said “Yes, mmm hmmm.” My jaw literally dropped. It was as if someone you had never met came up to you and told you all about the dream you had last night, but could barely remember. I was dumbfounded. We had a break about 30 mins later, and I went up to the lady and told her what I thought I had seen, but that at the time I thought it was nothing. She was SOOO happy that I told her, because it gave her confirmation that she wasn’t just “seeing things”. She said I needed to tell the group about what had happened, because they need to know how important it is to share your experiences, no matter how crazy they sound. That is how we get rid of our own doubts & fears. That is how we raise the level of consciousness. So, I shared, and the group became more vocal. As I mentioned before, our EM detectors would constantly beep and react to the things people in the group were saying. One would chirp poignantly whenever Dr Greer made a joke. Another would beep when members of the group said they saw something in a certain direction. Another would beep in response to the other two detectors. These cold devices felt alive. At one point, on one night, 3/4 of the group saw a bright flash of light on my side of the circle. They thought a camera flash went off, but the 1/4 of people on my side of the circle didn’t see anything. We then noticed that at the same time the flash had occurred, all the beeping stopped. They were done for the night. That was them leaving. It was truly strange. On another night, we got to the field and everything was quiet. The detectors weren’t beeping. We were all sitting in circle, and Dr Greer passed around a quartz crystal that a friend had given him. It was nice to look at. When it got back to him, he stood up, and held it in one hand. With the other hand, he pointed to various constellations, naming them as he went. When he got to Orion, the detectors started going apeshit. They kept beeping continuously for probably 20 minutes. On the Monday night I thought I saw glimpses of something sparkling & swirling in the circle. No, not the vampire from Twilight. It seemed to me to be a verrry fine, light energy. A kind of thin fog that was only slightly luminescent. The detectors were going almost constantly on Monday night *except* during our meditation, at which point they remained completely silent. At the end of the meditation Greer asked if anyone noticed anything. Someone said “Ya, the detectors stopped!” and Greer said “Yes, they did. They understand, and respect what we are doing here.” At that very moment, the detectors erupted into a cacophonous swirl of beeping and booping. A few times, I thought I saw patches of the dark night sky that I thought were darker than other patches, but again, I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me. I thought “black is black, and if I’m seeing different blacks, it’s just me”. BUT at one point, Theobat said “Dr Greer - I keep noticing dark patches of what appear to be moving sky. What is that?” Steven replied “I was wondering when someone would mention those. They are extra-terrestrial ships that absorb light. They absorb the star light from above AND any light from earth. They are totally dark, whereas the night sky is only partially dark.” — Once again, I should have spoken up with I thought I was seeing things. Have I mentioned how cold it got out there on the desert plains at night? I didn’t have a thermometer, but I am from Canada, and I can tell you that I have never been so cold in all my life. Of course, sitting completely still for 6 hours probably had something to do with it. Anyway, I wore: 2 long sleeved shirts, a nylon windbreaker, a heavy cotton windbreaker, a parka with lining, 2 pairs of thick socks, a neck warmer, a winter hat, and gloves. Plus, the mosquitoes were absolute man-eaters. There were swarms so thick that they could obscure whatever you were trying to look at. Thankfully, the bugs disappeared once it reached a certain temperature. On several nights, people thought they smelled roses in the circle. One time, I was talking to the lady who saw the balcony of the ship, and we smelled roses pass between us, at the same time that we saw that very thin light energy/tiny flickering of light on the ground near our feet. One night Dr Greer thought we should have a standing meditation. It was freezing, and I was shivering, but I got into it nonetheless. What seemed like a few moments later, the meditation ended. Greer said “Earlier, when I was talking about _______, and I rang the bowl…” I put my hand up, and he asked “Yes?”. I said “I don’t remember you takling about that, and I didn’t hear you ring the bowl!” He said “You musn’t have been here. That happens sometimes.” I have no idea what that was all about, but the meditation had apparently gone on for longer than I had thought. There was another night when we saw blinking lights on the side of the nearby mountains. They appeared and disappeared on what, during the day, appeared to be sheer rock faces, which would be very difficult, if not impossible, to traverse at all, let alone quickly. That didn’t stop the lights, though. They would run across the front of the mountain, and back again, taking only a few seconds to travel what was definitely miles of heavily wooded mountain terrain. We had binoculars, and couldn’t see anything but the lights themselves. I watched one of them for over 30 minutes. At one point, I heard a high pitch tone in my right ear, and then something cold touched my forehead… but nothing was there. On the final night, instead of meeting at our usual field location, we met at a scenic overlook point on the side of a mountain, almost an hour away, near some waterfalls. The view was absolutely amazing (see photo in Part 3) for a few minutes, but then a storm rolled in. We all ran to our cars to hide from the rain. It passed after about 20 minutes, and we got back in the circle. My back was toward the sheer face of the mountain. Nothing behind me but 2 feet of gravel, and then a big drop. The detectors were pretty quiet, until the fog started rolling in. I’m not sure if it was a really thick for, or a cloud… but within a few minutes, it completely enveloped the circle. Something strange was going on, though. The fog was all around the circle, and directly above it, but not IN the circle. We could see one another, but nothing outside the circle. THEN someone shone their green laser upward, and it hit the fog above the circle, and bent at 90 degrees. It appeared as if the fog ceiling of the circle were solid and completely flat. Everyone started shining their lasers at it, and they all bent flat. It was soooo weird. We were all kind of freaking out a bit, getting excited, when Dr Greer said we should take this time to meditate, so we sat back down and focused. I heard footsteps behind me, but there was nothing behind me. As you’ll recall, I was at the edge of a cliff. I told the circle I heard them behind me, and people on the other side of the circle said that they thought it was behind them. Then we smelled pipe smoke. Then Dr Greer said “Does anyone notice anything else that’s odd?” Nobody replied. He said “I can’t hear the waterfall. Can you?”. OMFG! No! It was completely silent. Was the fog insulating us from the waterfall? What was going on? It was actually loud before the fog rolled in. Greer told us that it was in fact a very partially materialized ship surrounding the circle. It was materialized enough to deflect our lasers, and to block out external sounds, but not enough so that we could see it or touch it. It pretty much blew our minds. After a while, the fog lifted, and the sound of the falls came back, and the clouds parted, and we could see the stars again… That was pretty much all we saw for quite some time. After the fog, the night was fairly uneventful. The detectors weren’t particularly active… but then the videographer called out for Dr Greer. He said he could see something on night vision, perched on the side of the mountain, perhaps a mile away. Dr Greer put on his own night vision, but could see nothing. The videographer asked Greer to come over and take a look on his night vision, which was connected to the video camera, and sure enough, there it was: a large, pulsating, orange disc with a small ball on the bottom, which would bob up and down between the disc and the ground. We couldn’t see it with our eyes or binoculars, and Greer couldn’t see it with his 3rd generation pro-sumer night vision, but it could be seen with the 4th generation state-of-the-art military-grade night vision, on camera. They quickly got excited and called us all over to watch the camera’s LCD screen. My skeptic came out for a moment, and I thought “Maybe that’s pre-recorded, to give us a nice little show on the last night.” Then Dr Greer took out his green laser and pointed to where the ship appeared to be. His laser appeared on the screen in real-time, of course. Wherever he moved it in real life, it moved on screen. It was definitely live video. More importantly, when he circled the ship with his laser, what was just an inch of diameter on the screen was perhaps several hundred feet of diameter in real life. This was a huge ship! We watched it for quite some time, too… but it didn’t do anything. It just sat there, glowing, with its little ball moving up and down at seemingly random intervals. We sat back down to try to get it to come a little closer, but it didn’t… and by the end of the night, it was gone. That was our closest, and most material group encounter. I say group encounter, because one member of the group (the stem cell researcher) had an altogether amazing personal experience one night, after our field work. He went back to his room, and meditated. He tried to make contact, and a golden beam of light appeared next to him. From what I remember, he went toward it, and was somehow transported to the mountains we saw every night. He was then taken aboard a ship, where a tall, very eloquent & stately “man” spoke with him. The man already knew everything he wanted to ask, and offered answers freely. This guy was a real gadget nut like me, so of course, when taken aboard an ET ship for the first time, he wanted to try it out! Before he could even ask, The Man said “Of course you can. Just think, and it will react to you now.” So, he took it for a spin. As he was telling us this story, he had tears coming down his face. He said the ship was somehow biological in nature. He said it felt like his pet dog from back home… like it was there to serve him, and like it was a friend. He said the ship would go wherever he wanted to, as fast as he wanted to go. He said he went past a large red building, toward a mountain with some waterfalls, where he saw more ships. At this point Dr Greer’s eyes lit up, and he looked at his inner circle. They all glanced at one another. This happened before our final night on the mountain near the waterfall. The guy had never been there, but he described the red building that was the entrance to the road onto the mountain, and when he saw it on the last day he wept, because he had already seen it from above! He said he could somehow see into the other ships that were there, and that Dr Greer and a few of the members of his inner circle were on them, which Dr Greer immediately confirmed. After taking the ship for a spin, they returned him to his room, and from that day forth he could see everything happening in the circle, and he could spot anomalous objects before anyone else. More than that, he became much more open with the group, and much more confident about what he was seeing. He was a changed man. So, those are my “Ambassador to the Universe” experiences thus far. I hope there will be many more to come. To summarize what I learned: - There are no “evil” ETs visiting our planet, because there is a Galactic Control Centre that prevents under-developed species from leaving their home planet/moon. We have not sent man further into space, because we are not allowed. - They mean us no harm, but they also have no desire to talk to our (corrupt/ineffectual) leaders. They prefer to communicate with us directly. - There exists a Prime Directive along the lines of “An it harm none, do what thou wilst.” That means: if it will kill us, others, or the planet herself, it is not okay. In the event of global catastrophe, ETs will intercede, but they would much prefer that we fix things ourselves. - Zacharia Sitchin and others are quite wrong. ETs would never enslave us to harvest gold or do other menial chores. They can just manifest whatever they want. They would have no use for gold. For the same reason, they have no reason to implant us. They can track us without implants, and they do, but not for nefarious reasons. - ETs are just like people: funny, and social, and loving. - Aliens and ETs are not the same thing. Aliens are man-made, and serve to instill fear. - 36 people seems like a large non-intimate group. I was worried that the lack of intimacy would be an issue, but it is not problem. In fact, it’s beneficial. It means more perspectives, more abilities, more witnesses. Also, because everyone shares common (fringe) interests, it feels very intimate. - The sound body manifests the light body (astral), which in turn manifests the physical bio-electric body. Therefore, if you can heal the astral, the physical will mend itself.

If I could leave you with a few parting tips, they would be: 1. Harm none 2. There is no such thing as coincidence 3. Pay attention to the signs around you 4. Cultivate your willpower, concentration, and imagination 5. Consciousness is the key to everything

A whole new world awaits, if you can take it.

Per David Icke, Sitchin is a graduate from the London School of Economics where the ‘bloodlines’ are educated, so he may have had a motive to his version- ie: it is all hopeless, so why bother……

I am also reading David Icke’s newest book, “Human Race Get Off Your Knees, The Lion Sleeps No More”, which is very interesting and to date is also depressing, although it is supposed to leave us hopeful - haven’t gotten to that part yet……

…..so I’ve been asking my ‘heart’ a lot of questions……what is True, what Am I to know, what am I to ‘do’, if anything. There is as much dis-information as information out there, so it is pretty confusing. And the energies surrounding us…. is anyone else feeling them - having trouble sleeping at night - getting headaches - feeling jazzed, etc.? What a time to be alive!!

I have wanted to do a CSETI but was concerned that I might invite the bad guys (Anunnaki/Reptiles) to mess with us more. Are you saying that these do not exist, that they did not seed us, and continue to control us through the bloodlines of the Rothschild’s, Rockefellers, & House of Windsor, etc. I would love to believe that but there is A Lot of information out there that says differently. January 23, 2009 Dear President Obama, Since the mid-1950s, classified projects connected to extraterrestrial matters have operated outside of constitutionally required oversight and control by the President and Congress. This constitutes a grave and ongoing threat to US national security and global security and peace.

The implications of this subject are such that no aspect of life on Earth will be unaffected by its Disclosure. We are acutely aware that this subject is highly controversial and suffers from great social opprobrium within certain elite circles and within the mainstream media.

Indeed, secrecy on the subject has, in part, been maintained by a carefully orchestrated psychological nexus of ridicule, fear, intimidation and disinformation that makes it difficult for any public figure to openly address the matter.

Moreover, the ‘bubble’ of security and access restrictions that surround the Office of the President makes it very difficult for POTUS to receive accurate information and advice on the subject. The consequences of this secrecy, combined with the psychological aspects mentioned above, have ensured that none of your predecessors have been able to effectively manage this problem. This has led to an unacknowledged crisis that will be the greatest of your Presidency.

Because of this misguided secrecy, the wondrous new sciences related to advanced energy generation, propulsion and transportation have been withheld from the people. These advances include the generation of limitless clean energy from the so-called zero point energy field and quantum vacuum flux field from the space around us, and propulsion that has been termed (incorrectly) anti-gravity. The field of electromagnetic energy that is teeming all around us and which is embedded within the fabric of space/time can easily run all of the energy needs of the Earth - without pollution, oil, gas, coal, centralized utilities or nuclear power.

The disclosure of these sciences and their wise application during your first term as President is the most pressing matter before you. These sciences will create a true new energy economy allowing mankind to solve our most pressing problems of global warming, poverty and resource depletion.

The constellation of problems that include global warming, biosphere degradation, air pollution, energy security, Mid-East policy, a collapsing geo-economic order, growing disparity between the poor and rich of the world, over-population and human sustainability on Earth, to name but a few, are all interconnected and directly affected by the secrecy surrounding this subject. The solutions lie not in old thinking and technologies but in a new consciousness applying new sciences. These sciences were born in the late 19th and 20th centuries but were abandoned and suppressed due to the lust for power, greed and out of fear of unsettling the status quo.

It is time for a new Emancipation Declaration - one that frees all of humanity from the shackles of economic slavery that results from secret centralized power, corruption and global economic hegemony. The world will not find justice and peace so long as half of the world’s population lives in poverty while the other half cannibalizes the Earth to maintain its standard of living. This dire situation can and must be transformed into a world of abundance, clean and plentiful energy and genuine sustainability. On this foundation, with these new sciences, technologies and a new consciousness, we can move forward as a people, united and in peace. Then and only then will we be welcome amongst the other civilizations of the cosmos.

That we are not alone in the universe is now a scientific given. That we have been visited already by advanced civilizations - whose interests here are likely ancient - is controversial. However, in my discussions with European, Vatican, Canadian and other leaders around the world, a growing consensus exists that we have been visited and the time for disclosing this information is long past due. More importantly, an appropriate diplomatic initiative is needed to communicate with these extraterrestrial visitors within a framework of universal peace, free from the past dominance of militarism and paranoia.

Insofar as upwards of 80% of the American people think that ‘UFOs’ are real, and that some aspect of the government is lying to them about it, continued secrecy redounds only to the benefit of the precious few who profit from such secrecy. This secrecy undermines the credibility of the US and other governments, and allows the cancer of unchecked covert power - forewarned by President Eisenhower in his last address to the nation - to metastasize throughout the world. It now threatens the very life of Earth.

Moreover, there exists a secret, ‘unacknowledged’ operation that has used very advanced electromagnetic weapon systems to track, target, and on occasion, but with increasing accuracy, down extraterrestrial vehicles. This reckless behavior constitutes an existential threat to all of mankind and must be reined in immediately.

The so-called MJ-12 or Majestic group that controls this subject operates without the consent of the people, or the oversight of the President and Congress. It functions as a transnational government unto itself, answerable to no one. All checks and balances have been obliterated. While as a governing entity it stands outside of the rule of law, its influence reaches into many governments, corporations, agencies, media and financial interests. Its corrupting influence is profound and, indeed, it has operated as a very powerful and embedded global RICO whose power to date remains unchecked.

Upwards of $100 billion of USG funds go annually into this operation, also known as the ‘black budget’ of the United States - enough to provide universal health care to every man, woman and child in America.

When I first briefed Director of Central Intelligence James Woolsey on this matter in December of 1993, only a third of this governing group was in favor of what we were recommending: Disclosure of the fact that we are not alone in the universe and the careful release of advanced energy generation systems that would replace oil, gas, coal and nuclear power. Sources now inform me that upwards of two-thirds of this group now support such an initiative.

Interests in Europe, the Vatican and Asia, especially France and China, are urging Disclosure. If the United States does not move forward, these other interests will, and America will be left behind and become increasingly irrelevant in the world. This cannot be allowed to happen.

The European and Asian arenas will move with or without US involvement at some point in the very near future, as well they should. Six decades of secrecy is enough.

We are also morally obliged to warn you of an existing highly secretive plan to use advanced technologies to hoax an ‘alien attack’ on Earth. There exists within the direct control of this Majestic group assets capable of launching such a false flag operation and virtually every person on Earth, as well as most leaders, would be deceived by it. Components of this operation have been tested on the public over the past 50 years and include, but are not limited to:

• Alien Reproduction Vehicles (ARVs) - these are advanced anti-gravity aircraft that have been fully operational since at least the late 1950s to early 1960s. Many so-called UFO reports by civilians and military personnel are of such ARVs. They constitute an unacknowledged or ‘black’ Air Force and these ARVs are capable of extraordinary speed, maneuverability and lift/hover. By 2009, these technologies had gone through many generations of refinement and, if deployed, could easily hoax or simulate an Extraterrestrial Vehicle (ETV). (Note that a UFO is a nonspecific term and could be either an ARV or an ETV.)
• Programmed Life Forms (PLFs) - these are well-crafted alien-appearing creatures that, while completely manmade, often deceive unknowing people as ‘aliens’. The stagecraft, genetics and other sciences associated with these creatures are beyond the scope of this brief, but are very well developed. I have personally been briefed by multiple independent corroborating sources regarding the development and deployment of PLFs. These creatures, used in conjunction with ARVs, have convincingly launched the pop culture fervor over ‘alien abductions’. Victims of such paramilitary human-controlled abductions genuinely believe that they have been abducted by ‘aliens’ and often have physical stigmata and ‘implants’ to prove it. These implants are also manmade and we have information about the laboratory and corporation making these items. (See attached documents)
• Chemical, optical and electromagnetic systems to assist with creating an alteration in awareness are components of the ‘stagecraft’ used to hoax an ‘alien’ event.

The vast majority of information in the public domain on the UFO subject is, therefore, carefully orchestrated disinformation designed to prepare the populace, as well as our leaders, for a non-existent ‘alien threat’. The psychological warfare implications of this were described in the 1950s in CIA documents and are further elucidated by other documents and testimony. No less a figure than Wernher Von Braun warned of this cosmic deception.

The objective of such a false flag operation is the creation of an enemy in space that would unite the world behind a global military power against such an ‘alien threat’. President Reagan and other leaders have been targeted with such disinformation, which is designed to secure their silence or cooperation with the agenda of secrecy and space weaponization. The President needs to be careful to avoid being similarly deceived.

After very careful review of all data and documents and after interviewing hundreds of top secret witnesses, we have concluded that the actual extraterrestrial presence is distinctly non-hostile. In light of the reckless and aggressive nature of many of our covert military actions and the extraordinarily advanced technologies that permit interstellar travel by these extraterrestrial civilizations, if they were hostile, human civilization would have been dealt with decisively at the dawn of the nuclear era.

These visitors, however, appear to be very concerned with unchecked human hostility, war-making and weapons of mass destruction, combined with our early potential for space travel. The tendency for people to engage in anthropocentric projection leads many to assume a threat where none exists. It is more likely that humanity may be seen as a threat to the cosmic order, insofar as we have failed to restrain the expansion of weapons of mass destruction while attempting to push farther and farther into space. Moreover, we have failed to initiate an enlightened and peaceful diplomatic mission to these extraterrestrial visitors. This needs to change immediately.

Disclosure of this subject must be very carefully planned and positioned as a hopeful and elevating moment in human history. A poorly positioned Disclosure that demonizes these visitors or frightens the public may prove more harmful than secrecy.

As you may know, my uncle was the senior project engineer who worked on the Lunar Module that took Neil Armstrong to the moon. The reason we were not welcome in space then is because the passport to traverse the universe is a stable peaceful world civilization that will go into space united and in peace.

In this regard, world peace and universal peace are two sides of the same coin. Once we vow to live peacefully on Earth and go into space only in peace, we will be welcome with open arms. Until then, a type of cosmic quarantine exists - rightly - around the Earth.

Unfortunately, the media and movie industry are highly penetrated by interests loyal to the Majestic group, which has used the media to, in turns, ridicule the subject and present terrifying images of ‘alien invasion’. In short, the populace is almost thoroughly brainwashed on the matter, and this presents a further hurdle that must be carefully taken into account when planning Disclosure.

Nevertheless, the status quo can no longer hold and fundamental change is urgently needed. To this end, we urge the President to undertake a number of initiatives as soon as possible. We recommend that the President:

• Appoint a Special Presidential Task Force to investigate this matter, identify covert facilities and assets (see attached summary) and reassert Executive control over these projects;
• Identify and immediately stand-down operations that are covertly targeting Extraterrestrial Vehicles, weaponizing space and engaging in rogue disinformation projects;
• Develop response plans to minimize the risks related to potential false flag operations that intend to hoax a hostile ‘alien’ presence, including preparations with military, intelligence and international institutions;
• Form The Council on Interplanetary Relations to coordinate a peaceful, forward looking and non-militarized response to the extraterrestrial presence. The Center for the Study of Extraterrestrial Intelligence (see www.CSETI.org) has an 18 year ongoing project to establish such contact and can assist with this process. CSETI, working with other governments and world figures, will form such a Council if the US government decides not to do so within the next 12 months;
• Immediately fund the study, development and careful release of those new energy technologies that can quickly replace fossil fuels and nuclear power. (See www.TheOrionProject.org). Note that these technologies, since they acquire energy from the zero point energy field of space/time, will allow for the retirement of the electric energy grid. We are in possession of documents and information regarding key facilities and assets connected to these technologies (see attached documents). We recommend that the propulsion and transportation aspects of these technologies (electro-magneto-gravitic systems) be released at a later time when the world security situation has improved;
• Establish high-ranking liaisons with Congress, the UN and other governments to coordinate these projects and the release of the new energy technologies;
• The National Security Council needs to form a section specifically addressing the international, interplanetary and macroeconomic implications of this disclosure and urgently prepare for the release of these technologies;

The Orion Project (www.TheOrionProject.org) has identified key scientists to assist with the development of these new energy technologies. They have agreed to work with us, but are being prevented from doing so, one by a compartmented operation (TS SCI) to which he is assigned. We request an action by the Office of the President to specifically permit them to work with us with the full support and protection of the President. We cannot over-emphasize how important it is that these people be assigned to this critical task: In less than 1 year, we would have new energy generators developed to run America free from oil, gas, coal or nuclear power.

President Obama, we stand ready to assist you and your Administration with these and other tasks, and pledge to you our full support. I will personally fulfill any request from your office with the utmost integrity, discretion and confidentiality.

I can tell you that a lot of scientists have taken that idea (although more in a more rigorous way) very seriously indeed. You can trace that all the way back to Kant. Recently, people working on embodied cognition have done a lot of stuff relating to the way minds constitute worlds (vs passively representing it). Andy Clark’s work is good place to look.

You say “Science wants you to believe that Objectivity is good and Subjectivity is bad.”

Who the hell is “Science”? Read Peter Galison or other people who study the anthropology of science … there is no monolithic voice. Read Kuhn or Popper or Feyerabend or Hanson for classic investigations into what kinds of things we can say with certainty about “science”

Also, what the hell do you mean? Do you mean, scientists say that, epistemologically, we require certain objective standards to have knowledge? If so, that’s pretty uncontroversial (although the actual details are subject to debate)

Or, do you mean, “scientists don’t take seriously the subjective aspects of our experience and our mental life” This is VERY far from the truth. In fact, in cog sci, in many ways scientists have taken this more seriously than a lot of philosophers and psychologists have. And scientists (especially people working in AI, but also biologists, hell you can take that back to Uexkull and the early cybernetics and general systems theorists) have often posited quite radical theses about the subjective nature of what we take to be the objective public ontology of the world. Recently, Varela comes to mind, as does Cantwell-smith, and most of the AI world. The dynamicists and anti-representationalists working in robotics and neuroscience fit here pretty well too.

Hell, as it turns out, the alleged incorrigibility of reports of our subjective experiences is beginning to look a little suspect. Lots of experimental setups can be created in which we are plain wrong about what we think we think. And there’s a few strains of work in philosophy of mind now that have cast some doubts about the kind of access we think we have to how we feel. Dennet’s paper “Quining Qualia” is a good taste of that.

Anyways, you say a lot of stuff, but you don’t pay ANY attention to the work that thousands of create and careful scholars have done on any of these issues.

Well, that’s the very foundation of modern philosophy, and the legacy of Descartes is centuries of work trying to beat back skepticism. I mean, you can’t just gloss over that in a sentence. Its a huge issue. What is knowledge? How do we know when we have it? What is the difference between shit that is true, and shit that ain’t?

“Because I feel it is true” doesn’t count as an answer. We’re too good at knowing things to get very far with an argument that we don’t. Check out the Sokal affair for a very funny look at how that’s played out when postmodernists play scientist.
